Hospitality

A welcome team and fellowship hall that says: you belong here.

About this Ministry

Why we do what we do.

“To make every visitor feel known and every meal a moment of fellowship — because hospitality isn't just hot coffee on Sunday morning, it's the way we love each other and our guests.”

Our Goals
  • Welcome team at every service — greeters, ushers, first-time-visitor follow-up
  • Fellowship meals at least quarterly
  • A first-week-back follow-up for every visitor (note, call, or visit)
  • Coordinate meals for new mothers, the sick, and grieving families

Ministry Guidelines & Safe Church Policy

  • Background checks: All adults serving with minors complete a background check, reference check, and child safety training before serving.
  • Two-adult rule: No volunteer is ever alone with a child or teen who is not their own family member. We staff every classroom with two unrelated adults minimum.
  • Photo policy: We do not publish photos of minors online without written parental consent.
  • Member data: Information you submit through this form is used only to connect you with this ministry. We do not sell, share, or rent your information. You can request removal at any time at office@apostoliclighthousechurch.org.
  • Pastoral care: Conversations with our pastors and ministry leaders are kept in strictest confidence except in cases of disclosed harm to self or others, where we are legally and morally obligated to act.
  • Doctrinal alignment: Ministry leaders affirm and teach in line with our statement of beliefs.
