Privacy Policy

This site (apostoliclighthousechurch.org) is operated by Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 1697 West 6th Street, Waldron, Arkansas 72958. We are a Bible-centered, Spirit-filled congregation. You can reach us at hello@apostoliclighthousechurch.org.

We only collect information you choose to give us, and only what we need to respond to you:

• Plan a Visit: name, email, phone (optional), how many guests, anything you want us to know.
• Prayer Request: name, email (optional), the request itself, and whether you want it kept confidential to the pastor.
• Newsletter: name and email.
• Contact / Connect: name, email, message.
• RSVPs & member sign-in: name, email, phone (optional), party size, any notes you add. If you create a member account, we also store the same fields plus your sign-in history.
• Giving: if and when online giving is enabled, donations are processed by Stripe under their privacy policy. We do not store your card number — only the giving record (amount, date, fund, and name/email if you provide them for a tax receipt).
• Server logs: our hosting providers (Vercel, Cloudflare, Supabase) keep standard request logs (IP address, browser, page visited, timestamp) for security and reliability. These are kept for a short period and we do not sell them.

• To answer your questions, follow up on a prayer request, or welcome you when you visit.
• To send you the newsletter or event reminders you signed up for.
• To run the church operationally — knowing who's on a roster, who RSVP'd, who gave.
• To keep the website online, secure, and free from abuse.

We do not sell your information to anyone, ever. We do not share it with advertisers. We share only with the providers we depend on to run the site (listed below).

The site runs on a small handful of trusted providers:

• Vercel — web hosting (US).
• Cloudflare — DNS, form handling, bot protection (US).
• Supabase — our database for members, RSVPs, prayer requests, etc. (US, AWS).
• Resend — sends transactional emails (RSVP confirmations, reminders, etc.).
• Fastmail — receives email sent to @apostoliclighthousechurch.org aliases.
• Stripe — payment processing for online giving (US).

Each of these has its own privacy policy. We chose them because they treat data carefully and meet standard security expectations.

When you mark a prayer request confidential, only Pastor Diego Rodriguez sees it. It is not forwarded to the prayer team, not posted publicly, and not used in any communication outside that pastoral channel.

We use a small number of cookies — only what's required to keep you signed in to the member portal, remember your form input across pages, and keep the site secure. We do not use ad-tracking cookies or third-party analytics that profile you.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Children's ministry registrations are handled in person, on paper, by a parent or guardian — that information is kept in church records, not collected through this site.

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you at any time by emailing hello@apostoliclighthousechurch.org. We'll respond within a reasonable amount of time and won't charge you to do it.

If we change anything material, we'll update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, note the change in the church newsletter or on the site.
